The snowy owl–pursuing your dreams day and night

OK, today I was looking through my paper file which is called “Personal Reference.”  (Many thanks to Amber of Amber’s Organizing who helped me to organize my papers!).  I was looking at various thing I had printed–articles I liked that I wanted to look at again.  And then it hit me!  This is what you can do with a blog.  Write about these things I am thinking about and then put in links so I can find them again–or anyone else who is interested can too.  It made me feel a little slow, but also excited about the possibility of how to work with a blog.

I was going to look for a photo of a Snowy owl and print it out, because I have always loved owls and I pulled the owl card when I was looking at my Medicine cards today.  When I was a little girl, one of my mom’s friends gave me a stuff owl.  He had wise sayings printed all over him, like “A stitch in time saves nine.”  I named him Hamlet.  I wonder what ever happened to him.  To me, the owl represents wisdom and magic.  And since they usually fly at night, they are also related to the wisdom of dreams.  They are sometimes called the night eagle.  Snowy owls can hunt in the day or the night.  Any time is a good time to pursue your dreams!
