Tulip–#AtoZChallenge

tulip
Oh, the tulips are beautiful right now here in Chicago.  I went for a walk this afternoon and saw many tulips–a whole rainbow of them.  And the air smells sweet from the lilacs, crabapples and other flowering trees and bushes.
We went back to school today after spring break.  It was amazing to me that some of the children in my class looked like they had grown in the 10 days since I had seen them last.  It seems that the children, like the tulips, sprout in the spring.
The children were very happy to be together again.  They are such a chatty group.  It makes me smile to see how happy they are to see each other and listen to their stories about what they did over the break.
I was happy to stay home, write, draw (and have a root canal–not so happy about that, but happy to have at least the first part of it done).
Anyone remember this hand clapping game? (I don’t remember the movements, just the words–and I never saw them written, but this is what it sounded like to me.

The spades go tulips together,
 Twilight forever,
Bring back my love to me.
 What is the meaning
 Of all these flowers?
 They tell the story
The story of love from me to you.
Cha-cha-cha.
