This course is designed especially for beginners. I guide you step by step through each part of making your mouse—no prior experience needed. If you can poke a needle, you can needle felt!

No worries! Needle felting is very flexible. I’ll show you what you need, but you can often substitute colors or use materials you already have on hand.
If you’d rather have everything ready to go, I also offer a small number of Needle-Felting Mouse Kits with the wool, felting needles, and sponge you’ll need to get started.

You can go at your own pace! Each video is short and focused, so you could complete your mouse in just an hour or so — or spread it out over a few cozy crafting sessions. Take your time and enjoy the process.

Yes! Children ages 6 and up can enjoy needle felting with adult supervision (since the needles are sharp). By age 9 or 10, many kids are able to felt independently after learning the basics. You know your child best and whether they’re ready.
