Daffodil–#AtoZChallenge

Daffodil

Spring is coming, spring is coming,

Birdies build your nests

Weave together straw and feather,

each one doing your best.

Spring is coming, spring is coming,

Flowers are coming, too.

Pansies, lilies, daffodilies

All are coming through.

This is part of a song we sing in our Waldorf Early Childhood classes to welcome spring.  I haven’t seen the daffodilies yet, but I hope they’re on their way!

That’s what I’ve got for D-day

Thanks for stopping by!

I am a writer, handworker, artist and teacher (a WHAT!), and a mom of two beautiful daughters who are amazingly 17 and 21. I am working on getting my first book, a fantasy novel for young people, published and am busy spinning on my new spinning wheel. I have been a Waldorf early childhood teacher for 10 years now, and before that, I was a lawyer. Teaching is much more fun.
